Maajoukkuepelaaja Saana Koljonen joutuu jättämään seuransa

Lentopalloilija Saana Koljosen kausi on ohi. Koljonen ei ole toipunut kärsimästään tulehdustaudista.

Koljonen vahvisti lauantaina Instagramissa, ettei hän pysty palaamaan kentille kuluvalla kaudella. Samalla hän joutuu jättämään seurajoukkueensa, Ranskan liigassa pelaavan Quimperin. Sopimus on purettu.

– En ole kuntoutunut kahden leikkauksen jälkeen, ja mahdollisesti kolmaskin tarvitaan. Taistelua tämä on ollut, ja se jatkuu, Koljonen kertoi.

Joulukuussa Koljosen akillesjänne turposi, ja tutkimusten jälkeen jalassa diagnosoitiin bakteeri-infektio. Liberona pelaava Koljonen kuuluu Suomen maajoukkueen vakiopelaajiin.


Koljosen korvaajaksi Quimper hankki kokeneen tshekin Martina Smidovan.

Quimperissa kautensa aloitti myös yleispelaaja Salla Karhu. Äskettäin hän jätti ranskalaisjoukkueen ja siirtyi Hämeenlinnan Lentopallokerhoon. Karhukin kuuluu maajoukkueen luottohenkilöihin.

I guess it’s now official then. I have to give up on the dream of getting back to the court this season and to QuimperVolley because of the bacterial infection I got in November. I still haven’t been able to recover from the two previous surgeries and might need a third one. So it has been and still is a struggle and daily battles happen in my mind instead of volleyball courts. ✨ . So while I still try to keep optimistic attitude in life in the middle of all this, I want to send all the positive vibes and energy to QuimperVolley29 and those great and amazing people I got to meet this season. Keep fighting ladies, enjoy the possibility to play and create experiences together😊 I love and miss you people!! I hoped to have a cozy and warm place to play and live and it certainly was. Thank you for your support! 😘 ✨ . Thank you everyone who have been part of my experience and I’m so sorry for not being able to come back.
